Legal AI Development for a Legislative Drafting System
LAWEP.AI is an AI legislative drafting system from a legal tech startup. It is built for legislators, policymakers, and researchers who write laws, acts, and bills. Using Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), LAWEP.AI helps its users research precedent and draft text faster. The client reports that drafting time fell from months to weeks.

The platform ingests legislative history, case law, and policy frameworks, drafts bills and acts from that corpus, checks them for constitutional compliance, and runs cross-jurisdictional precedent analysis, so legislative teams move from months of manual work to weeks, as reported by the client.
