When you engage EdgeFirm from the UK, you contract with EDGEFIRM LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales (Companies House No. 15421996).

EDGEFIRM LTD carries its own controller and processor standing under UK GDPR. EdgeFirm's wider group also holds separate company filings in the United States (EdgeFirm LLC) and Pakistan (EdgeFirm Pvt Ltd).

Engineering is delivered by EdgeFirm's team in Karachi, Pakistan. UK GDPR Chapter V governs transfers of personal data from the UK to Pakistan. These transfers are covered by an International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) together with a Transfer Risk Assessment (TRA), which confirms the transfer adds no unacceptable risk.

The UK-US Data Bridge covers transfers between the UK and the United States only. It does not extend to onward transfer to our engineering team in Pakistan. That is why the IDTA, not the Data Bridge, is the mechanism for the UK-to-Pakistan route.

EdgeFirm's engineering team is in Karachi, Pakistan, and the company is UK-registered and US-registered. We say so plainly because transparency is a feature of how we work, not a detail to hide. You meet the engineers who build your system on the first call.

EdgeFirm's UK pricing is published in pounds sterling, with fixed-price engagements scoped on real engineering hours.
